The Flagler Corporation was founded in October, 1949 by Roy G. Flagler.   Roy had previously held the position of Works Manager for a large machine tool company that produced machinery for the HVAC Industry.  Roy founded the business around the 22 Ga. Portable Pittsburgh machine, which still uses 95% of the same components as the original machine.  He then continued to add more machines to the Standard Line of products along with designing and building custom roll form products.
